José Moreira

José Moreira has extensive experience in the electrical engineering field, holding key positions at Rede Eléctrica Nacional - the Portuguese Transmission System Operator - since August 1999, serving as both Powerlines Engineer and System Operations Engineer. Prior to this, José worked as a semiconductor test technician at Texas Instruments from 1993 to 1999. Academic qualifications include a Licenciatura in Electrotechnics and Electronics from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, a Master Degree focused on the applicability of RCM-Reliability Centered Maintenance methodology to High Voltage Transmission Lines from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, and completion of the Programa Avançado Gestão at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics in 2018.
