Abhinav Gupta

Abhinav Gupta is the Senior Vice President at ReNew, leading the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Business and overseeing international development and partnerships since October 2017. Gupta drives the decarbonization journey for corporates and industries through innovative renewable energy solutions, including hybrid systems, virtual power purchase agreements, and green hydrogen initiatives, while also spearheading entry into new markets such as the US, EU, and Africa. Prior to ReNew, Gupta served as General Manager - Country Lead at Astonfield Renewables, managing operations in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Gulf Cooperation Council, and held roles at Emergent Ventures and Stratanalysis Consulting, focusing on sustainable energy and deal structuring for the pharmaceutical sector. Gupta holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering.
