Philip New

Philip New has extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, serving as a Non-Executive Director at Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) since March 2017, Almar Water Solutions since March 2017, and Norsk Hydro since May 2022. In addition to current roles, Philip New holds an Independent Director position at ReNew since August 2023. Previously, Philip New was the CEO of Energy Systems Catapult from November 2015 to June 2022 and led BP's Alternative Energy and BP Biofuels divisions from September 2006 to December 2014. Philip New earned a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) from the University of Oxford from 1980 to 1983 and attended Sutton Valence School from 1973 to 1980.
