Sophie Parmentier has extensive experience in the fields of libraries, cultural mediation, and heritage education. Since July 2014, Sophie has served as the Responsable bibliothèques Champs Manceaux/Clôteaux Brequigny and the responsable pôle des publics et communication at the écomusée de la Bintinais with Rennes Ville et Métropole. From 2021 to 2023, Sophie worked as an Enseignante vacataire at Université Rennes 2, teaching professional courses related to heritage mediation and cultural institutions. Previous roles include chargée des collections et de médiation culturelle at Ville de Suresnes, responsable du service des publics et des collections at Brest Métropole, and chargée de mission culturelle at Toulouse Métropole, among others. Sophie holds multiple advanced degrees in museology and art history from institutions including Ecole Du Louvre and Université Jean Moulin.
