Manfred Kopf is a Senior Principal Scientist at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Manfred has been with the company since December 2013 and has been a council member since February 2016. Manfred is currently on the Scientific Advisory Board for Repertoire Immune Medicines.
Kopf has led a team through the discovery of a targeted therapeutic biologic and successfully transitioned the molecule into early development. Manfred is experienced in developing highly-performing teams that work across multiple sites and is confident in negotiating heavily matrixed environments.
Kopf has a solid expertise in biochemistry and biophysics and specializes in biochemical assay development, SPR, protein NMR, fluorescence and CD. Manfred also has molecular biology, protein expression and purification training. In addition to their strong scientific skills, they also have excellent written and oral communication skills and extensive managerial experience.
Manfred Kopf studied pharmacology at Cornell University, where they earned their PhD. Manfred also holds a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Cornell University.
