Pratyush Sharma

Pratyush Sharma, PhD, is a Policy Consultant at the Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) since January 2024, focusing on knowledge sharing and sustainable solutions for the Global South. Previously, Pratyush served as an Assistant Professor at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, where contributions included designing a dual-degree program with the University of Arizona and preparing a white paper for Civil 20 discussions. Experience also includes working as a Policy Consultant for the United Nations Human Rights, where research centered on the right to development in South-South cooperation, and as a Doctoral Candidate at the University for Peace, specializing in International Relations and International Development. Additional roles include faculty positions at Verto Education and Kyung Hee University, along with a fellowship at the German Development Institute. Pratyush holds a PhD from the University for Peace and has a robust educational background in International Relations, International Law, and Engineering.
