Brandy Joy

Brandy Joy is a seasoned Project Manager currently employed at Resi since May 2024, with prior experience in the same role at PaleoWest from August 2022 to May 2024, specializing in Cultural Resource Management. Brandy also served as a Senior Archaeologist and Project Archaeologist at Versar, Inc from January 2020 to August 2022, and held the position of Administrator for the Stono Archaeology Project between June 2018 and January 2020, where Brandy developed a social media outreach program to educate the public about archaeology and history. Earlier in the career, Brandy worked as a Research Assistant at both the Applied Research Division of the South Carolina Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology, and the University of South Carolina from January 2014 to April 2019. Academic credentials include a PhD in Archaeology and an MA in Anthropology from the University of South Carolina, as well as dual bachelor's degrees in Anthropology and Psychology from the University of Florida.
