Niall Lockhart

Niall Lockhart is an accomplished information security and data protection professional with extensive experience in managing data security across various organizations. Currently serving as the Information Security & Data Protection Officer at the Retail Energy Code Company, Niall oversees data protection and security initiatives, enhances security infrastructure, and manages risk. Previously, Niall was an Information Security Specialist at Tesco Bank, where responsibilities included developing information security policies aligned with ISO27001 and GDPR standards, and held roles in cyber security and threat intelligence. At Lloyds Banking Group, Niall developed the Data Loss Prevention Operations team and managed risk related to data loss incidents, having also served as a Data Loss Prevention Analyst at the Royal Bank of Scotland, where forensic analysis and incident investigation were key responsibilities. Niall holds a BSc in Applied Computing from the University of Dundee.
