Marc Tesler

Marc Tesler became a supporter of RSRT shortly after his then-two-year-old granddaughter, Magnolia, was diagnosed with Rett. His research convinced him that RSRT’s goals, approach, and people were most likely to succeed in finding a cure.

Tesler, a retired technology investor and venture capitalist, brings prodigious business experience, as well as his dedication and passion to the cause, to his role as a trustee. Over the course of his career he was instrumental in growing two separate private equity firms from startup to more than $2 billion in assets, first at Citicorp Investment Management (later known as Chancellor Capital Management), and then at Technology Crossover Ventures, which is now a leading provider of growth capital to information technology companies. Tesler also co-founded a nonprofit, The Restorative Neurological Clinic at Burke Medical Research Institute, which pioneered the provision of advanced therapies with a “right to try” model that facilitated serving veterans for free.

Marc joined the RSRT board in 2018.
