Amanda Cooper is an experienced financial journalist with nearly 20 years of expertise in macroeconomics and financial markets, particularly in energy and commodities. Currently serving as the EMEA Editor for Breaking News in Markets & Finance at Reuters News Agency since September 2022, Amanda previously held the position of Senior Editor for Markets at Insider, Inc. from August 2020 to August 2022. Amanda's career at Reuters includes roles as Chief Correspondent for Energy (EMEA) and editor of the Global Markets Forum, where Amanda moderated discussions on macroeconomics and markets. Beginning as a Correspondent covering commodities and macroeconomic news, Amanda also worked at Platts as an Assistant Editor focused on metals markets.
