Akos Kovacs

Akos Kovacs is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in credit risk controlling and reporting. Currently serving as the Head of Credit Risk Controlling and Reporting at UniCredit Bank Hungary since September 2019, Akos previously held positions at Magyar Nemzeti Bank as a Supervisor and at GE as a B2P Senior Accounting Analyst. Akos's expertise includes process migration, account reconciliation, and reporting, with a strong background in accounts payable from an earlier role at KLM. Holding a Master’s degree in Accounting, Controlling, and Auditing, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Budapesti Gazdasági Főiskola, Akos is proficient in various software applications including MS Office, SAP, and BasWare.
