Kabita Gurung

Kabita Gurung is an emerging professional currently serving as a DigITs Intern at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center since June 2024. Gurung is also a member of Rewriting the Code and a fellow at BASTA, where participation in a 10-week fellowship program focuses on career preparation for first-generation college students. Additional experience includes a role as a Food Server at MáLà Project and participation in the Girls Who Code Leadership Academy, which emphasizes leadership, career readiness, and technical skills. Prior experience includes serving as a Middle Manager at CIRARI and a Personal Care Assistant at Habilitative Systems Inc. Gurung is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance at Baruch College, with an expected graduation in December 2024.
