Professor Of Trumpet at Rhode Island College

Joseph Foley serves as a Professor of Trumpet at Rhode Island College, a position held since 2003, where responsibilities include teaching trumpet, coaching brass ensembles, and mentoring students. Additionally, Joseph Foley has been the Principal Trumpet with the Rhode Island Philharmonic since October 1990 and held the same title with the River Oaks Chamber Orchestra from 2011 to 2013. As a freelance musician and private instructor from 1983 to 2013, Joseph Foley cultivated a diverse performance career. Joseph Foley earned a Bachelor of Music in 1987 and a Master of Music in 1989, both in Music Performance from Boston University.
