Kieran Ayton

Kieran Ayton is an experienced Electronic Resources and Technology Librarian at Rhode Island College since September 2012, serving as a liaison to the School of Education and providing leadership in the management of online library resources. Responsibilities include managing e-resources maintenance, licensing, usage reporting, and promoting library effective use among students and faculty. Previous roles at Rhode Island College include Emerging Technologies Librarian, where Kieran collaborated on technology initiatives, and Interim Head of Digital Initiatives, overseeing the library's online repository. Prior experience also includes Information Services & Technology Librarian at Cranston Public Library, enhancing technology training and support, Public Services Librarian at Rhode Island Hospital Library, implementing health outreach programs, and Reference Librarian at Bryant University. Kieran holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Simmons University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Rhode Island College.
