Peter Burgess

Peter Burgess is an accomplished recruitment professional with extensive experience in the retail sector. Founder of Retail Human Resources plc (RHR) in 1988, Peter has served as Director and is now the non-executive chairman, overseeing the longest surviving independent retail recruitment business in the UK. Peter held the position of Managing Director at The Appointment Ltd from 2006 to 2013, a recruitment media firm under the Daily Mail General Trust plc. Earlier career roles include consulting on the establishment of a retail recruitment division at Macmillan Davies Hodes and managing multiple stores for Russell and Bromley Ltd. Peter holds a Bachelor of Laws from The Open University and an MBA from London Business School.
