Sean Sawey, CPA, is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in alternative investment tax services. Currently serving as a Tax Partner at Richey May since April 2014, Sean specializes in tax compliance for foreign and domestic hedge funds, private equity, and venture capital. Previously held positions at Richey May include Tax Director and Senior Tax Manager, focusing on supervising federal tax compliance for pass-through entities and reviewing complex tax forms. Prior to joining Richey May, Sean worked at Rothstein Kass as a Tax Supervisor, where responsibilities included reviewing various tax forms and providing support for special projects. Sean holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Ramapo College of New Jersey, earned between 2003 and 2005.
