Yo-Hann Tan

Yo-Hann Tan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the real estate and financial sectors. Currently serving as an Independent Director on the Standards and Regulations Board at RICS since July 2023, Yo-Hann focuses on governance, conduct, and regulatory standards within the industry. Previous roles include Senior Managing Director at Chelsfield and Savills Investment Management, and Senior Advisor at Global Counsel, where expertise in government relations and public policy was applied. Between January 2013 and January 2021, Yo-Hann was a member of the BNP Paribas Group Management Committee for APAC and held the position of CEO for the Asia-Pacific region, overseeing business operations and real estate investments. Earlier, Yo-Hann served as Managing Director and Deputy CEO at Aareal Bank AG, managing its activities in Asia Pacific, and gained legal experience as a Senior Associate at Holman Fenwick & Willan and as an Associate at Watson Farley & Williams. Educational qualifications include an LL.M in Banking & Finance Law from UCL and Barrister-at-Law qualification from The Honorable Society of the Inner Temple.
