David Johnson

David Johnson possesses extensive leadership and engineering expertise in manufacturing and product industrialization, currently serving as Sr. Director of Manufacturing Engineering at FOX Factory since April 2021. Prior roles include VP of Audio Design & Development Engineering and VP of Product Industrialization & Solutions Engineering at Flex, overseeing large teams and complex projects in audio product design and manufacturing. David has held various senior positions at Flextronics, Nuventix, Lexmark International, Motorola, and Apple, focusing on engineering management, tooling, and supplier collaboration. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Leadership from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Western Carolina University, complemented by an AAS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Central Piedmont Community College.
