Andreas Birsner

Andreas Birsner is an experienced professional in the textile technology sector, currently serving as Vice President of Field Service at Rieter since November 2021. Prior to this role, Birsner held the position of Head of Winding Lab at Uster Technologies from January 2017 to November 2021. Birsner's career also includes serving as Qualitätsleiter and a member of the Management Team at Hermann Bühler AG between May 2013 and December 2016, as well as the role of Textiltechnologe at Rieter from January 2008 to April 2013. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration degree from ZHAW School of Management and Law (2012-2014), a Diplom-Ingenieur in textile technology and management from Reutlingen University (2002-2008), and additional studies at Xi'an University of Science and Technology and IMD in 2004 and 2019, respectively.
