Jan Peter van Den Toren

Jan Peter van den Toren is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in management, advisory roles, and academia. Currently serving as Managing Partner at Birch Consultants since April 2011, van den Toren also holds positions as a member of the Supervisory Board at Rijn IJssel and the Economic Institute for the Building Sector. From May 2018 to April 2023, van den Toren was a Professor of Practice in Entrepreneurship in Ecosystems at Tilburg University. Previous roles include serving as Director at Econn Consulting and Innovatieplatform, Advisor to the Prime Minister at the Prime Ministers Office, and various supervisory board positions in educational and economic organizations. Jan Peter van den Toren holds a PhD in Economics from Leiden University and a Master's degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
