Brenda Guyader

Brenda Guyader is a highly experienced structural engineer and entrepreneur with a diverse background in consulting and design. Currently serving as Principal Consultant and Senior Consultant at Rimkus since March 2016, Brenda also operates as CEO of Guyader Consulting, which specializes in seismic risk assessments and peer review services. Brenda founded STRUCTUREbags, a company that combines engineering precision with eco-friendly materials to create stylish bags and accessories. Prior roles include Project Manager at Allshouse Engineering, Associate Principal at Degenkolb Engineers, and Designer at KPFF Consulting Engineers. Brenda holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, as well as a Certificate in Print & Broadcast Journalism from UCLA Extension.
