Monique MacEwan currently serves as the Director of Architectural Services for Rimkus, a role held since August 2022, focusing on the complex risks involved in architecture, engineering, and construction services across Canada. Monique is also the Architect and Principal at MacEwan Architecture & Design Studio, established in May 2021, specializing in high-end residential, educational, commercial, and industrial projects in Nova Scotia. Previous experience includes a position as Senior Architect at ZZap and a multi-discipline Project Manager at Wood, contributing to large-scale projects for over 16 years. Monique co-owned Mx4 Properties, focusing on residential real estate rehabilitation, and began a career in architecture as an intern and student architect in various firms. Educational qualifications include a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Environmental Design Studies from Dalhousie University, as well as Bachelor degrees in History from the University of Calgary and Dalhousie University.
