Jag Shinde is a seasoned professional in asset management with extensive experience across the mining, oil, and gas sectors. Currently serving as Chief Advisor for Asset Management at Rio Tinto, Jag focuses on operational excellence and strategic risk management within the Copper product group. Prior roles include managing capital effectiveness and continuous improvement initiatives at Rio Tinto Projects and transforming client organizations at Accenture. Jag has a strong background in optimizing asset performance at Rio Tinto Coal Australia, coupled with previous experience at Oniqua, GWA Group Limited, New Hope Group, and Saint-Gobain. Educational credentials include a Master of Engineering in Asset Management from Queensland University of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad, India.
