Shayne Jones

Shayne Jones is an accomplished Area Manager at Rio Tinto since February 2008, with extensive experience leading projects across the company's iron ore and aluminium operations. Notable achievements include managing a $215 million project for the Pond 5 tailings dam closure and overseeing engineering efforts for various significant projects, including the Robe Valley Sustaining Project and the Fuel Infrastructure Project. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Project Management from Curtin University and dual degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Corporate/Investment Finance from The University of Western Australia.
