Zhihong Cao

Zhihong Cao has extensive experience in the finance sector, currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer for Rio Tinto in China since August 2001, along with roles as Chief Representative of the Guangzhou Representative Office and as a Board Director for Rio Tinto Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Previous positions include Chief Financial Officer for Rio Tinto Asia & China and Manager of Finance, Accounting & IT for Rio Tinto Asia. Prior to joining Rio Tinto, Zhihong held finance roles at Ford Motor Company and Electrolux, as well as managerial positions at DongFeng Motor Corporation. Zhihong is a Fellow at both the Institute of Public Accountants and The Institute of Financial Accountants, and a member of the China Association of Chief Financial Officers. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hunan University.
