Dan Watkins

Dan Watkins serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Pelagos Pharma, focusing on drug development aimed at modulating cellular metabolism to address obesity, enhance muscle function, and combat various metabolic and age-related diseases. In addition, Dan holds the position of Venture Partner at Mercury, with a concentration on biotech and AI/ML applications in life sciences. Dan is also the Managing Director at OmniScience, overseeing strategy and partnerships, and previously held the role of Chief Executive Officer at Mercury Data Science, which provides AI/ML strategy and software solutions for healthcare. Dan Watkins earned a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Materials Science from Rice University.
