Balaji Baktha

Balaji Baktha is the current director at RISC - V (Risk Five) and has previously worked for Ventana Micro Systems, Apex Semiconductor, LeapFrog Semiconductor, TransientX, Inc. (which was acquired by Deloitte), PointR.AI, Mistral Venture Partner, WRV Capital, and TandemLaunch Inc. Balaji also has experience working in venture capital with Riverwood Capital.

Baktha has a long history of experience in the semiconductor industry, with their most recent position before joining RISC - V being Chairman at TransientX. Balaji was with the company from January 2020 to August 2021. Prior to that, they were Chairman at PointR.AI from March 2018 to August 2020. Before their time in the semiconductor industry, Baktha worked in venture capital with WRV Capital and TandemLaunch Inc.
