Stefan Wallentowitz

Stefan Wallentowitz is the Director at RISC - V (Risk Five). Prior to this, they worked as a Senior R&D Specialist - Innovations at Giesecke + Devrient Mobile Security from October 2017 to February 2019. Before that, they were with Free and Open Source Silicon (FOSSi) Foundation.

Stefan has also worked with Simless, Inc. as a Staff Engineer from June 2015 to July 2017. Their previous experience includes an internship at ARM from November 2010 to February 2011 and research assistant at Technische Universität München from May 2011 to May 2015. Their research topic was Network Adapter for Inter-Task Communication in Manycore System-on-Chip. Stefan has also been a scholarship holder at Technische Universität München from February 2009 to April 2011.

Stefan Wallentowitz has a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Technical University Munich. Stefan also has an MBA in Economics and Business Administration from RWTH Aachen University, as well as a Diploma in Computer Engineering from the same school.
