Amy Crews Cutts has over 20 years of experience in the field of economics and is currently serving as an advisor at RiskSpan. Cutts began their career as a deputy chief economist at Freddie Mac before moving on to AC Cutts and Associates LLC, a consultancy firm they founded. Amy later joined Equifax, where they served as SVP and Chief Economist for eight years. In this role, Cutts led a team of economists focused on developing insights on consumer credit, business credit, employment, and compensation. Amy also increased brand awareness for Equifax through engagements with national print and telecast media, white papers and academic studies, and conference presentations. Cutts is a passionate advocate for consumer rights, credit literacy, and credit opportunity, and has helped clients reduce risk, increase profit, and explore new possibilities. Amy has anchored quarterly webinars with an average of $4 million in revenue opportunities generated annually and their client engagements have averaged $10M in sales conversions annually. In addition to their work at RiskSpan, Cutts has also taught as an adjunct professor at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University and at The Johns Hopkins University.
Amy Crews Cutts received a PhD in Economics from the University of Virginia, an MA in Economics from the University of Virginia, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Applied Mathematics from Trinity University. Amy is certified by the National Association for Business Economics (NABE) as a Certified Business Economist.
