Jim Rea

Jim Rea is an experienced Human Resources and Industrial Relations professional with a career spanning over four decades. Since November 2006, Jim Rea has served as both HR Manager and IR Manager at Roadstone Ltd., an operating company of CRH Plc., handling all Industrial Relations issues along with associated Human Resources responsibilities. Prior to this role, Jim Rea worked as an IR/HR Executive for Ibec from April 1997 to November 2006, where responsibilities included consulting and representing member companies. Jim Rea's career began in the Irish Defence Forces from 1978 to 1997, attaining the rank of Captain as a commissioned officer in the Infantry Corps. Jim Rea holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography and Sociology from the University of Galway and has received additional education from various institutions, including the Irish Defence Force Officer Cadet School and National College of Ireland.
