Jim Mahony

Jim Mahony is an experienced information security professional currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Robert Morris University since April 2019. Prior roles include Director of Information Security at Black Box Network Services and Director of Information Security & Risk Management at Highmark Inc. Additionally, Jim held the position of SVP Director of Cyber Security at PNC Financial Services Group, where responsibilities involved leading vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. Early career experiences include positions as a System Administrator at E. R. Munro and Company and GlaxoWellcome. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Master of Science degree in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
