Jing Wang currently serves on the National Nursing Research Council at the National Institutes of Health and is a Board of Trustee member for both the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and HCA Florida Capital Hospital. Since August 2021, Jing Wang has held the position of Dean and Professor at Florida State University's College of Nursing. Previous roles include Emerging Leader in Health and Medicine at the National Academy of Medicine and Health and Aging Policy Fellow with a focus on health policy. Jing Wang has substantial academic and leadership experience, having been a Professor and Vice Dean for Research at UT Health San Antonio and the Founding Director of the Center on Smart and Connected Health Technologies. Jing Wang’s academic credentials include a PhD in Nursing and an MPH in Public Health, both obtained from the University of Pittsburgh.
