Gerard van Olphen

Gerard van Olphen currently serves as Lid RvC at Robidus and Voorzitter of the belanghebbendenorgaan beroepsreglementering (BOB) at the Nederlandse Beroepsorganisatie van Accountants (NBA), positions held since 2024. Additionally, Gerard holds the title of Voorzitter at de Volksbank's raad van commissarisen and serves as Vice Voorzitter at a.s.r. verzekeringen, both roles ongoing since 2021 and 2019 respectively. Previously, Gerard was the Voorzitter of the raad van bestuur at APG from 2016 to 2021 and chaired a task group for the Dutch Climate Agreement from 2018 to 2020. Earlier career milestones include leading VIVAT Verzekeringen as Voorzitter RvB in 2015 and serving as Voorzitter RvB at SNS REAAL from 2013 to 2015, alongside various other leadership positions within the financial sector. Gerard's educational background includes degrees in accountancy and economics from RU Groningen.
