Andrew Janian

Andrew Janian serves as Head of Core Engineering, Head of Platform and Cloud Engineering, and Head of Equities Engineering at Citadel since March 2021. In addition, Andrew has been a Leadership Council Member at Robin Hood since March 2024 and joined the National Council at Washington University McKelvey School of Engineering in November 2023. Andrew is an Advisory Board Member of the Quant Strats Conference and previously held significant roles at Two Sigma as Managing Director of Engineering Leadership and Head of Data Engineering, as well as Chief Information Officer for Two Sigma Securities. Additional experience includes advisory roles at Uncharted and AI and Data Science in Trading, a board position with Crux Informatics, and an early career as an Enterprise Architect at Scottrade, Inc. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
