Kara Brotemarkle

Kara Brotemarkle is an accomplished leader in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Lead for Accelerating Commercialization Excellence at Roche since February 2017. In this role, Kara oversees a global initiative to enhance commercialization efforts within Roche Pharma. Previous positions include serving as General Manager for Roche in both Sweden and the Philippines, where Kara drove innovative healthcare solutions and improved patient outcomes during the pandemic. With extensive experience in hematology, Kara has held various strategic roles at Genentech, contributing significantly to product revenues and market strategies. Additionally, Kara has been actively involved in industry associations, including serving as a Board Member for The Swedish Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry and as a Trustee for the Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Association of the Philippines. Kara holds an MBA in Health Care Management from The Wharton School and an AB in Economics from Harvard University.
