Mason Austen

Mason Austen is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience in waste management and recycling. Currently serving as the Lead Solid Waste and Recycling Advisor at Rocky View County since February 2018, Mason is responsible for developing and implementing programs that promote proper waste disposal and support the County's waste diversion goals. Previously, Mason held the position of Operations and Communications Manager at DIG (Do It Green), where expertise in zero-waste management and environmental stewardship was provided to various event organizers. Mason holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies and Geography, along with a Minor in Business Administration and Management from Bishop's University, obtained in 2015.
