Kumar C. Shah

Kumar Shah is an associate clinical professor and a Board-Certified Prosthodontist & Maxillofacial Prosthodontist in the Division of Advanced Prosthodontics at the UCLA School of Dentistry. He is the Director of the Advanced Prosthodontics Postgraduate Residency Program and also directs the pre-doctoral and graduate implant dentistry courses. In addition, he is the Director of the Advanced Prosthodontics Preceptorship and Advanced Implantology Preceptorship Programs. He is also the Director of the Faculty Group Dental Practice. Dr. Shah received his B.D.S. from Singapore, his M.S., and Certificate in Advanced Prosthodontics from The Ohio State University, and Certificate in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics from the legendary UCLA program in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics. He is Faculty for the Foundation for Oral Facial Rehabilitation. His interest is in novel methods to restore the oral functions of speech, mastication, swallowing, and facial esthetics in patients with structural deformities. He led the first US clinical trials for the RODO Smileloc system and has lectured on this topic to leading professional organizations.
