Martin Bailey

Martin Bailey is a skilled engineering professional currently serving as the Simulation and Modelling Lead for Controls at Rolls-Royce SMR since September 2022. With a robust background at Rolls-Royce spanning over 16 years, Martin has held various key roles, including Systems Team Leader for control systems on the UltraFan project and several leadership positions in NPI controls for notable engines such as Trent 1000 and Trent XWB. Prior experience includes project engineering at RPC Group Plc and an engineering technician role with National Grid as part of the Royal Academy of Engineers Year in Industry scheme. Martin holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Materials for Industry from Loughborough University and a BEng (Hons) in General Engineering from the University of Leicester.
