Tom Primmer

Tom Primmer is an experienced professional in faith formation and education, currently serving as the Director of Faith Formation for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Des Moines since July 2017. Previously, Tom held roles such as Educational Consultant at RCL Benziger, where responsibilities included aiding sales and marketing efforts and editing catechetical resources. Tom's academic involvement includes teaching the Survey of World Religions course as an Adjunct Professor at Des Moines Area Community College. Earlier roles include Director of Faith Formation for the Archdiocese of Dubuque, Director of Campus Ministry at the Roman Catholic Diocese of Des Moines, and various positions in the financial sector and pastoral care. Tom holds a Master of Divinity in Theology from the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Northern Iowa.
