Tory Upham

Tory Upham is currently an advisor at Ronin Equity Partners. Prior to this, they served as the global general manager for Dakine Equipment from January 2020 to December 2021. In this role, they were responsible for the brand's commercial, financial, product, and operational management. Tory developed and implemented short- and long-term strategic initiatives to maximize Dakine’s presence within current and new outdoor / action sports, travel, and lifestyle categories. Tory successfully executed a go-to market plan through innovative product development, omni-channel retail and distributor relationship management, and dynamic marketing. Tory also hired and integrated a team after the business unit relocation to Los Angeles headquarters. During their time at Dakine Equipment, they delivered the overall brand financial plan (sales, margin, inventory, OpEx) while concurrently implementing a new ERP (Oracle), FlexPLM, and B2B platforms.

Before their time at Dakine Equipment, Tory served as the Senior Vice President for Camp & Emerging Brands at Exxel Outdoors from January 2011 to December 2020. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of the camp and emerging brands businesses including product development, sourcing, sales, marketing, and operations. Tory also served as the President of CushCore & Kreft Moto from January 2009 to December 2011 and as the Director of Sales for CPI Sports from January 2009 to December 2011.

Tory Upham's educational career began with a BS from Babson College, where they double-majored in Management and Entrepreneurial Studies. Tory then pursued a finance-related field at Harvard Business School Executive Education.
