Carmen Popescu

Carmen Popescu is a seasoned professional in pharmaceutical development with over 15 years of experience at Roquette, serving as a Global Pharma/Biopharma Technical Developer and Senior Project Coordinator for various pharmaceutical applications. Carmen's expertise includes coordinating the development of solid dosage forms, oral liquids, injectables, and enteral nutrition products, as well as advancing cyclodextrin solubilization of active pharmaceutical ingredients. In addition to industry roles, Carmen holds multiple adjunct associate professor positions at prominent universities, engaging in research and education on solid dosage formulation. Previously, Carmen contributed as a Senior Research Scientist at deCODE Chemistry and Baxter, specializing in development and formulation strategies for BCS Class II and IV drugs. Carmen possesses a Ph.D. in Physics/Biophysics from the University of Bucharest.
