Sebastian Gabel

Sebastian Gabel is an Assistant Professor at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, specializing in "Learning from Big Data" since December 2021. Gabel serves as a Scientific Advisor at Schwarz Dienstleistungen and previously held the position of University Lecturer at Humboldt University of Berlin, where Gabel developed a Master's course in "Machine Learning in Marketing." With extensive experience in the tech industry, Gabel was the Chief Product Officer at Segment of One and the Chief AI Officer at SO1.ai during its acquisition by Wirecard. Gabel co-founded SO1.ai and has a strong academic background, holding a PhD in Marketing & AI from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, as well as Master's degrees in Economics and Physics from RWTH Aachen University.
