Leo Wyndham oversees the business for Platoon, an innovative distribution and creative services company, owned by Apple.
Leo joined Apple in 2004 to launch iTunes across Europe, and was responsible for shaping the company’s live music strategy, including the Apple Music Festival that ran for 10 years in London and saw performances from some of the biggest artists in the world.
In 2012, Leo moved to Japan to launch Apple Music in the second largest market globally, and to lead strategic expansion projects in China. He then relocated to Singapore to manage Apple’s Services businesses, including the App Store, Apple TV+ and Apple News, across the rest of Asia Pacific, India, the Middle East, and Africa.
He returned to London in 2020 to lead international operations for Beats Electronics and its family of premium consumer headphones, earphones and speakers.
Leo earned a bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from Sussex University. He has written, produced and released music himself, including remix work with several Grammy-winning artists.
