Nihar Lohan

Nihar Lohan is an MEng student in Engineering at the University of Cambridge, with diverse internship and work experience in various sectors, including power and renewables at Aurora Energy Research and knowledge engineering at Oxford Semantic Technologies. Background includes work experience in civil engineering at Kochi Metro Rail Ltd and reliability engineering at Ox Mountain, among others. Notably, significant contributions were made in data analytics for airport operations at Delhi International Airport Ltd, where Nihar utilized Python to optimize security lane allocations and presented findings to senior airport officials. Additional experiences include a prototype design for Vodafone’s sell portal and participation in Heathrow's competitive work experience program. Nihar holds a 2nd Dan in Wadō-ryū Karate and has pursued academic excellence from an early age, being an Academic Scholar at Magdalen College School.
