Salman Malik

Salman Malik, PhD, is a distinguished academic and entrepreneur currently serving as the RaEng Visiting Professor of Applied Engineering Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Royal Academy of Engineering, hosted by London South Bank University. Malik is also an Entrepreneur in Residence at The Royal Society, based at the University of the West of Scotland, and serves on the professional advisory board. As the founder and CEO of the personal care brand Etch®, Malik has a strong background in entrepreneurship, having previously led MicroSpray Technologies Ltd, an award-winning technology company. With extensive experience as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at various organizations and a board member at UCL's EEE Department, Malik actively contributes to the development of upcoming entrepreneurs. Malik holds multiple degrees, including a BEng, MSc, and PhD in Bioengineering from UCL and Yale University, along with an MBA from London Business School and a Master of Enterprise from Alliance Manchester Business School.
