Yen Li Yeap

Yen Li Yeap is an Officer Cadet with the Cambridge University Air Squadron and serves as the Charities Projects Officer, coordinating fundraising initiatives for charities like Médecins Sans Frontières and undergoing flying training. Yen has experience as a UROP Researcher at Whittle Laboratory, focusing on turbomachinery design, and as a Propulsion Engineer with Cambridge University Spaceflight, contributing to the design and testing of rocket systems. As a Firmware and Systems Engineering Intern at Leonardo, Yen developed radar algorithms using MATLAB and Simulink. Previous roles include fundraising for Emmanuel College, mechanical engineering tasks at Cambium Networks, and various positions in customer service and operational support. Currently pursuing a BA with MEng in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Cambridge, Yen's earlier education was completed at Torquay Girls' Grammar School.
