Roma Holland has extensive experience in the arts and media sectors, currently serving as an event accreditation specialist for BBC Proms and an Access Ambassador at Shakespeare's Globe. Since August 2021, Roma has championed accessibility for diverse audiences through various roles, including Theatre Host at OSO Arts Centre and volunteer Globe Steward at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. Additionally, Roma coordinates play reading sessions for Well Read and acts as Archivist for Barnes Community Choir. Previously, Roma held significant positions at BBC News as a Playout Editor and at Ericsson Broadcast and Media Services as a Senior Playout Director, contributing to the successful transmission of BBC channels. Roma's educational background includes a BA (hons) in French, Modern Languages and European Literature from the University of East Anglia and studies at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, along with recent training in British Sign Language.
