Ishita Mukherjee

Ishita Mukherjee is an experienced software engineering leader, currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering for Market Risk Technologies at RBC since July 2022, focusing on the transformation of Market and Credit Risk applications to AWS Cloud. Previous roles include Engineering Manager at the Canadian Institute for Health Information, where Ishita led the development of a national organ donation and transplantation data pipeline, and Engineering Manager/Associate Director at RBC Capital Markets, where the first iteration of a core Data Lake was architected. With a strong background in data engineering and cloud technologies, Ishita has held positions at TD, autoTRADER.ca, FCT, D+H, Citi Capital Markets, Schneider Electric, and as a Research Associate at the University of Victoria. Ishita holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology.
