Head Of Marketing & Strategic Communications at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew

Marilena Reina is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in the arts and cultural sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Marketing & Strategic Communications at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew since June 2021, Marilena previously held the role of Head of Marketing for Brighton & Hove Music & Arts and East Sussex Music since 2016, contributing to music education for over 10,000 young people. Additionally, Marilena has been the Head of Marketing at Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival since 2010, where responsibilities included project managing marketing campaigns for a variety of artistic events and initiatives. Earlier career roles include Marketing Manager positions at Tate Britain and Whitechapel Gallery, where strategic marketing campaigns were developed for exhibitions and events. Marilena holds a 2:1 degree in History of Art and French from Kingston University, completed in 2002.
