Hein Bemelmans

Hein Bemelmans has extensive experience in the horticultural industry, currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Enza Zaden since 2007, where leadership of a global sales network has driven significant growth. Additional roles include membership on the Supervisory Board of Royal Brinkman and as a Board Member for Naktuinbouw, focusing on quality in horticulture. Hein also chaired Seed Valley, fostering education in seed breeding, and previously held the position of Director of Marketing at The Greenery, transforming the image of Dutch produce in Europe. Early career experience includes international trade advisory work at The Netherlands Chamber of Commerce in the U.S. and an internship with DuPont. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management and a BSc in Agricultural Business Administration from HAS Dordrecht.
